RULES

• Minimum Age to enter is 16 years.
• Registration Fee must accompany signed registration form by ALL participants.
• Trophy and prizes will be awarded for the top three teams in each category.
• The maximum number of teams for this event will be 100.
No outside assistance allowed on the course. Teams are allowed, and encouraged,
   to help other teams.
• No food or beverages will be provided during the race. Racers must provide their own
   food and drink during the race.
• Teams must stay together and cannot enter transitions/special tests if missing one
   or more team members.
• Substantial time penalties will be assessed to any team that does not fully complete
   a special test.
• There will be 3 participants per team - all team members must complete each leg.


The Divisions Include:
All Male, All Female, Coed, Masters All Male, Masters All Female and
Masters Coed (combined age greater than 120)


Equipment:
• The terrain will require a mountain bike or hybrid/cross terrain with a minimum
   tire width of 1.75", or 700 x 38c, respectively.
No Cyclocross - No road bikes.
• Bikes will be checked prior to race start.
• Each team must have a bike repair kit and tire inflation device.
• All racers must have an ANSI approved helmet and MUST be worn at all times
   during the event.
• Canoes and floatation devices will be provided and are included in the entry fee.

• All teammates must wear gloves through the entire event-Cycling gloves are acceptable.
• Canoes, paddles and life vests will be provided at no additional charge.
• Racers must be willing to swim a limited distance.
• Except as otherwise noted, all gear for the race must be provided by the race team.

Hydration Packs are strongly recommended. Water is not provided on the course.

Schedule of Events:
Race Start: 8:00 am

Awards and Post-race party: Approximately 2 p.m.


In fairness to all of our racers, volunteers and sponsors, race officials will impose a cutoff time within the race. Teams not reaching the cutoffs may be asked to stop and join the Post Race party.
There will be a $15 charge for adults other than a racer to eat or drink at the Post-race party.
  Children under 10 will be $5 each.
