The relay exchange point will be just beyond the halfway point at Front Street and Maclay St. Each team will be required to veer off the path and tag their teammate and they will begin the second half of the run. The second runner can park in the lot of the Harrisburg Special Education buildings. You can make a left from 2nd St. into the parking lot going north just past Maclay St. and park in front of the buildings on the Front St. side.

CHIP TIMING:
CHIP TIMING SYSTEM: This race will be scored by PA Runners using a Chip Timing System.
RACE BIBS AND TIMING CHIPS: Pin your race bib to the front of your shirt or shorts.
Please check the information on your race bib to make sure the information (name, age, sex, etc.) is correct. Report any corrections to the race director or starting official.
FINISH LINE:
Volunteers will be at the finish line to assist you in removing the timing chip from your shoe. Chips must be removed and given to a finish line volunteer to receive an official time. No one will be allowed to leave the finish line chute until each chip has been removed. Please note: If you fail to remove a chip or if you lose your timing chip, you will be charged a $25 replacement fee.
PORTABLE TOILETS:
Toilets will be at the start and finish line area near the Carousel Pavilion on City Island. Also, toilets will be placed at the Vine Street ramp (just beyond the Comfort Inn in Shipoke). Additional toilets will also be located near the near Division & Front streets (on the riverfront path). These toilets will be available as you run in both directions along the riverfront path and Front St.
WATER STATIONS:
Water stations will be available approximately every 3 miles. You will run by a water station at Vine St. in both directions and another water station around Division St. in both directions. There will be a sport drink available at the Division St. station in both directions.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE:
EMS utility vehicles will be available along the course. A Medical tent will be available near the Finish line on City Island.
Summary:
Course will be run along the riverfront and is mostly flat - Water stations available every 3 miles - EMT services available on City Island and connected to each water station by cell phones - Chip timing - Race day Registration is $60 - Prize money will be awarded to top male and female finishers - Results will be available online - Food and drink will be available following the race - Shower facilities available at the East Shore YMCA after the race until 4 p.m. - Click here for Directions and Local Accommodations - The race has grown so much in the past few years that we expect 1100+ participants this year - Walkers report to the registration table by 7 a.m.
